the secret of semangat pagi

how is life going? I hope it is fine OK? (i partly assume it is not, cause we are in the midst of a pandemic)

since the cor cor started, some people (well, now mostly all) were Working From Home, the choice most company picked to protect their people from the monsters. Those words began to rise up since the pandemic started, it was cool! imagine when someone asked you, 

                "hm you're not working?" 

                "im WFH"

                 "what's that?"

                "Working From Home!"

                "do they pay you the same as you're Working normally?"

                "Sure, what working normally? We're still working!"

                "OK, understand. Happy WFH"

                "ok stay safe!"

geezzzzz, you can check how many people use those words at the Q1-Q2 2020. "WFH" "Stay Safe"


However, at first, it might be cool but actually wasn't... 

OK, you can do your job wearing pajamas, while eating freely. It was cool, but as time goes by, it wasn't (2).

you mostly getting tired day by day, feeling like "oh, this is tiring", you have no spirit, you have no semangat, a least for me. the reason? IDK, perhaps because you didn't talk to people directly, you have no office ambiance, or maybe you're just lazy, blah. But, here's the thing. You still can be feeling productive and highly-spirited, but just need some effort aja.

1. Good Sleep

This is the most general thing you may be heard. bear in mind, Good Sleep, Good Focus. Try not to drink lots of caffeine, imagine how dark your eye circles when you go out, pls no.

2. MANDI /take a bath/

do not ever think, because you're WFH you can just work while laying down wearing pajamas and then "oh wow I'm ready to do my job". well, the output can be different. No, It is different. at least for me (2). That was the thing I didn't think of at first. I was working (like usual) wearing pajamas, and what I've felt was blah, it wasn't good. my mind was blah, stuck.

so, I started to change my habit. I woke up as usual, took a bath. and BOOM. IT WAS GOOOOOD!

the water that touches your skin really awakes you like a slap on your face! it gave me feels like, "Hey bitch, please wake up, please be productive. you need to work and making good outputs"

3. Makan Pagi /breakfast/

THIS IS WHAT MOST PEOPLE IN MY AGE ARE TEND TO FORGET cause they are ...just lazy. I reckon it depends on what time they wake up. If a person wakes up at 10am, likely they won't even touch food until lunch (it was me, dulu). But, it is really not healthy, dude. really.  The food supplies you took in the morning, really give you this feeling of *boom* as if they are gasoline for your body. And it also allows your body to have primary energy for the day.

4. Start with a good mood

well, we can actually agree that we sometimes cannot pick what moods we have at a time. However, we can actually stimulate a good mood in our morning. How? it depends. For me, having a good deep sleep on the previous night, thus making you feel energized and "empty" as if you have ready to start your day. 

Being an early bird is a birthright for me, oftentimes. so that, I don't have any difficulties waking up early, just need to maintain my sleep schedule (cause no matter what time I sleep, the natural alarm would wake me up at 6am).

After you wake up, you can just simply stunned before doing your exercise (if you do), then do not forget to drink water after. You can read a book or just write (everything, diary or journal). Later, remember to do point 3. Ok?

Those are my tips for semangat pagi, it can be varied for some people. But for me, those 4 points are the best. oh iya, to keep you focused, just remember to drink A LOT of water (no alcoLOL). AND... do not let yourself hungry ok?
