what i learned from candy crush

i love games. i do.

I used to be a fan of first-person games including Call Of Duty (a big fan here!), Medal of Honor, Battlefield, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, Counter-Strike, and so on. I am also a big fan of life-simulation games like The Sims (WHO DOESN'T?) and RollerCoaster Tycoon!

Well, there are so many things to learn from games. However, there is this one free-to-play game which really (kinda) addictive to me, Candy Crush Saga. GOD.

When i was 16, i don't play a mobile game often, cause for me it was so boring. I did not play games on my phone, i use the phone only for social media and taking pictures. 

And i decided to download Candy Crush. It seems easy but as you go to the next level, you barely feel it was easy cause it was not. and now I'm 22, but i only passed to the level of 824, hhh lousy.

for most people, game is just a game. for me, game is just a game too. HOWEVER, it taught me a lot. particularly, about tenacity, persistence, consistency, time, and LUCK.

I only want to elucidate about Candy Crush, cause don't you see the TITLE??

Start from the difficulty of every level I'vewent through, those beginning levels are quite easy for me, I only need one time to pass it. but as to the next level, it became harder and harder. I began to lose at the first attempt, so I need to try it again. and it continues to the harder and super hard level.

Then I just realized that this was actually how life goes. you know what i mean right? the game is just the world, the arena. Level refers to age, as you pass the previous level, you will be on the next level then IF you succeed and not die or lose. In short, life is a game. ohhhh wow so cliché haha

Tenacity

i like this word. I use it to describe how someone is very determined. it tells determination. playing Candy Crush actually exacting. It needs attention and ...moods. I don't know if it's happen to you, but to me whenever I have a bad mood (eg. on period) while playing Candy Crush it didn't turn out so well.

Persistence

i like this word. This actually the synonym of tenacity. But, to me, persistence is more to the continuance despite difficulties. Sometimes when life gets hard we tend to surrender, by just let it flow without any efforts. Well, those words above actually mean the same! haha, different alphabet lolz.

Consistency

aaaah this word is difficult! as a lowkey procrastinator, this word bullied me. I sometimes have more struggles to cope with consistency. When you play Candy Crush, you need it. As on a daily basis, you need consistency to get on top. to get what you wanted. just as playing Candy Crush to get into the next level!

Time

Time matters! you need to know when is your "active mind" on! when you're tired, don't. Same as when you did your task, job, or chores hahaha

LUCK

luck undeniably plays a big part also ha! in games, in life, in work, in love life, in everything. However, I believe luck will beget when you believe in yourself also! Is when you adjust Tenacity, Persistence, Consistency! and don't forget, do not expect too much! expectation kills ngl! 

its funny to me, cause sometimes LUCK comes when you're not even hoping for it. It just comes.

So! come play Candy Crush!!!!!!!!
